  2. It’s definitely unfortunate. Sadly, AC is following the lead of most other airlines doing it. Hard to ignore a revenue stream. In Europe, some airliners are looking to charge for carry on luggage.

I don’t care about the cost of the checked bag as much as the boarding procedure and the sheer chaos that is going to be caused by people trying to bring ALL their belongings as carry on bags when it really should be checked in the first place. It was difficult before but now it is going to be ridiculous. Makes me not want to fly.

    • Thanks for your comments! In Europe, some airlines charge for carryon… and others have very strict rules about size of carryon (purse size, one piece) so if you bring bigger, they will force you to check it and pay…. discount airlines in Europe have led the way with this stuff unfortunately. It will definitely be transition in Canada…
